This Privacy Policy explains how AIXTools ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and tools at aixtools.online.
1. No accounts, no tracking profiles
AIXTools does not require sign-up. We do not build user profiles, sell data, or run third-party advertising trackers.
2. Local-first processing
The majority of our tools — background removal, magic eraser, compression, format conversion, video processing — run entirely inside your browser. Files you upload for these tools are processed on your device and are never sent to our servers.
3. Tools that use Google Gemini
A few features rely on Google's Gemini API to compute results, including the AI Assistant (chat), OCR (text extraction), image upscaling, and the magic eraser on images. When you use these tools, the content you submit (text, images, or file attachments) is sent to Google Gemini for processing and is subject to Google's privacy terms. AIXTools does not store this content on our own servers.
4. Video downloads
To fetch a downloadable file from a public URL, our server acts only as a relay to the origin platform. We do not store downloaded videos or metadata after the request completes.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use browser localStorage to remember UI preferences (such as recent chat threads). We do not use marketing or analytics cookies.
6. Children's privacy
AIXTools is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through our tools, please contact us and we will assist.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
